Bitterblue by Kristen Cashore
Release Date 5/1/2012
"Bitterblue is a companion book to both Graceling and Fire and takes place in the seven kingdoms eight years after Graceling. This third book will tie all three books together in some way. Bitterblue is the sixteen-year-old protagonist, and Katsa, Po, Giddon, Helda, and other characters from Graceling will be part of the fabric of the book." {goodreads}
I was so thrilled when I came across this book with a cover AND a release date. Kristen Cashore captured such magic and adventure in Graceling and Fire. I know Bitterblue will not disappoint. I love this cover too!
Spell Bound by Rachel Hawkins
Release Date: 3/12/2012
"Hailed as “impossible to put down,” the Hex Hall series has both critics and teens cheering. With a winning combination of romance, action, magic and humor, this third volume will leave readers enchanted.
Just as Sophie Mercer has come to accept her extraordinary magical powers as a demon, the Prodigium Council strips them away. Now Sophie is defenseless, alone, and at the mercy of her sworn enemies—the Brannicks, a family of warrior women who hunt down the Prodigium. Or at least that’s what Sophie thinks, until she makes a surprising discovery. The Brannicks know an epic war is coming, and they believe Sophie is the only one powerful enough to stop the world from ending. But without her magic, Sophie isn’t as confident.
Sophie’s bound for one hell of a ride—can she get her powers back before it’s too late?" {Goodreads}

This series has out done it's self. Ms. Hawkins is a true creator of magic. It's true what they say about not being able to put her books down. I had zero complaints about this series, only that I have to wait for the third installment.
Dreamless by Josephine Angelini
Release Date 5/29/2012
"As the only Scion that can enter Hades at will, Helen descends to the Underworld in search of a way to overcome the Furies and end the cycle of revenge that has cursed the Scions. But she’s running out of time. Each descent weakens her both in mind and spirit. A mysterious stranger might be her only salvation, but the price may be her love for Lucas Delos.
As an unforgettable love triangle emerges, Josephine Angelini’s compelling saga becomes ever more intricate and spellbinding. The eagerly awaited sequel to the internationally bestselling Starcrossed, Dreamless delivers with a huge emotional impact that will leave readers satisfied—and longing for more." {Goodreads}

I was mesmerized by Starcrossed. The drama was beyond anything I've ever read before...and I loved it. I am nervous about this love triangle though. Hurry up May 2012.

Bitterblue looks amazing but I've yet to read the Graceling series. Dad read them already and said they're awesome, so I guess I have to get to them sooner! :)
